技术 Management Ph.D.

- New technology venture creation (e.g. entrepreneurship and corporate venturing), and
- Select current and emerging technologies (technology concentrations).

The requirements of the Ph.D. program are: successful completion of preliminary examinations and courses, 在书面综合和口头(提案答辩)考试中取得满意成绩, 博士入学.D. 候选资格, successful completion and defense of original work documented as a 论文, and the satisfaction of additional requirements such as teaching courses, seminars and publications.
The formal 学位 to be offered is the Doctor of Philosophy in 技术 Management. This will be awarded to candidates who complete all the requirements of the Ph.D. 学位.
Ph值.D. student is expected to maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. If the GPA falls below the required 3.0, the student is automatically placed on probation. * Students admitted to the Ph.D. program should have a business or management 学位 as well as an engineering, computer science or technology 学位. To be more specific, (1)本科工程或技术专业(STEM = Science), 技术, Engineering and Mathematics category) 学位 and an MBA or MS in 技术 Management or Engineering Management or Management of 技术 (MOT) or equivalent graduate 学位; or (2) an undergraduate Business or Management or TM or MOT or equivalent 学位 and a master’s 学位 in Engineering, 技术或STEM.

The student is expected to work on the approved topic and produce original results. S/he must report the results in the form of the Ph.D. 论文. 鼓励学生以技术报告的形式记录中间结果. S/he is also encouraged to publish these results as they are discovered, in international professional literature, i.e., refereed conference proceedings and journals. Proof of good work is the acceptance of the results by reputed journals.
